Just completed 3 days of filming on DIY SOS - The Big Build. I was asked to make all the Curtains and Roman Blinds for a new episode in Failsworth, Manchester.  Gabrielle, Nick and the boys are all really really lovely !  Billy is just as hilarious in real life as he is on the TV, I loved his stories. All the gang were so friendly.  

It's 2 years since my workroom was built and it's lovely to make the commute down the garden path to work every day!  Business is going from strength to strength, which in these difficult economic times is really a blessing.

It's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Year and I was asked by The University of Salford at Media City UK, to make the unveiling Curtains for the Plaque, which The Duke of Edinburgh opened on Friday 23rd March 2012. All went really well, see the photo of The Duke in the gallery.

As well as making all the Curtains and Roman Blinds, and donning overalls for filming an episode of 60 Minute Makeover, I have been asked to make Voiles for the Abode Hotel, Manchester, in the Michelin Chef - Micheal Caines restaurant.
I have also kept myself busy by obtaining a PASMA Certificate, which means I am able to construct tower scaffolding ! Very helpful for when hanging curtains in School Halls.
